The Panthers have announced the capturing of the 26-year-old striker of Ghanaian descent from their ltalian third division rivals in this current transfer window

Italian-born Ghanaian centre-forward Joseph Ansah Ekuban has joined Serie C side AC Renate from fellow league rivals Latina Calcio on a one-and-a-half-year deal, the club have confirmed.

The former SS Arezzo frontman is linking up with the ltalian lowly division club after facing a turbulent first half of the season with the Stadio Domenico Francioni campaigners so far this term.

A statement confirming the Ghana-prospect attacker signing reads from the club's official website: ''In the summer of 2015, we welcomed into the Nerazzurri family, a young man making his first professional football adventure. A man who left an indelible impression, who embodied our spirit and mentality, contributing to an unexpected relegation. And from there, he soared to Serie A.

''Now, with the same enthusiasm, we welcome his brother, a 2000-born striker who has moved here permanently from Latina Calcio 1932. During his Serie C career, he also wore the jerseys of Virtus Francavilla, Fidelis Andria, Monterosi, and Arezzo. From the Nerazzurri of the Winged Lions to... the Nerazzurri of the Panthers: Joseph has signed a contract until June 30, 2027, and we extend him a warm welcome.''

Before joining his new employers, he netted 2 goals in 22 appearances across all contests in this ongoing football season.

Ekuban, who is a sibling to Genoa CFC Ghana international forward, Caleb Ekuban, is yet to earn his international cap with Ghana on the international stage.
