Italian heavyweights SSC Napoli and AS Roma have both made enquiries about Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana, with fresh discussions scheduled to take place today involving Atalanta, according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 22-year-old attacker has emerged as a key target for both clubs as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the next phase of the season. Sulemana’s pace, direct dribbling, and ability to stretch defences have made him an attractive prospect in the Serie A market.

Sources indicate that Napoli and Roma are exploring a loan deal with an option to buy, a structure that would allow them to assess the winger’s impact before committing fully. However, Atalanta are standing firm in negotiations, insisting on a mandatory purchase clause as part of any agreement.

The Bergamo-based club view Sulemana as a valuable asset and are reluctant to sanction a temporary exit without guarantees over a permanent transfer. This difference in valuation and structure is expected to be a key talking point in today’s discussions.

As talks intensify, Sulemana’s future could be decided in the coming days, with all parties keen to reach clarity. For the Ghana international, a move to either Naples or the Italian capital would represent another major step in his European journey and a chance to play a more prominent role at the top level of Serie A.
