The 30-year-old striker of Ghanaian descent has linked up with the Turkish second division club in this current transfer window
Turkish TFF 1. Lig side Boluspor have announced the signing of Italian-born Ghanaian forward Martin Boakye on a one-year contract.
The experienced attacker is joining the Bolu Beyi on a free transfer move after parting ways with Thailand's top-flight outfit Buriram United this summer.
An official confirmation over the signing of the Ghanaian attacker read: "It was noted that the football player, born in Italy, started his youth career in the Ponte dei Nori and Solesinese teams.
"Boakye began his professional football career with Kitzbühel in Austria and then played for Hohenems. He later played for Jeunesse Esch in Luxembourg, Slaven Belupo in Croatia, and Andijon and AGMK in Uzbekistan.
"The 30-year-old football player played for the Chinese Super League team Qingdao Hainiu in 2024, and in 2025transferHe also led Thailand's Buriram United team to victories in the championship, ASEAN Club Championship, Thailand Cup and Thailand League Cup."
Boakye remains eligible to represent Ghana on the international stage given his Ghanaian heritage.
