The promising youngster of Ghanaian origin has joined the Italian third-tier side on a season-long loan deal from his mother club until the end of the upcoming season
Serie C outfit US Pergolettese have announced the loan signing of Italian-born Ghanaian star Mike Aidoo from Serie A side lnter Milan.
The 20-year-old is now set to spent the entire 2025-26 football season with the Italian lower division side after joining them on a loan basis in this current transfer window.
An official confirmation over his loan transfer move read on the club's official media: "US PERGOLETTESE 1932 is pleased to announce the temporary arrival of full-back MIKE AIDOO from INTER . Born in Bussolengo (VR) on May 30, 2005 , to Ghanaian parents, after starting out in the CHIEVO VR youth team, he was acquired by INTER in 2021, initially playing for their under-17 team. He then progressed through the under-18 and under-19 teams, before joining the Primavera team, where he played 55 games and scored one goal in two seasons. He also boasts eight YOUTH LEAGUE appearances and one Coppa Italia appearance for the first team."
Aidoo has already represented Italy at the U17 level and is still eligible to play for Ghana at any level in the future. The 19-year-old full-back was born to Ghanaian parents in Italy, and he has been tipped as the next big thing in European football.
He was handed a long-term contract earlier this year to keep him at Inter Milan until the summer of 2027 following his exploits at the club's youth side.
