The ltalian third tier campaigners have announced the signing of the talented defender from the top-tier outfit in this ongoing summer transfer window
Ghanaian teenager Claudio Martey has joined Serie C club US Pianese from Sassulo on a one-year contract, the club have confirmed.
The 19-year-old left-back is joining the Stadio Olimpico Carlo Zecchini outfit on a permanent basis after spending most of his career with the Sassuolo U20 youth team.
An excerpt of a statement over the signing of the former Reggiana U17 read on the club's website: ''Claudio Martey is the Pianese full-back, he arrives on a permanent deal. Claudio Martey is a new player for US Pianese. The Bianconeri club announced they have reached an agreement with the player for the permanent acquisition of his services.
''Pianese is happy to welcome Claudio Martey to the Juventus family and wishes him a year full of success, both on and off the pitch.''
Martey is still eligible to play for Ghana on the international stage as he is yet to be cap-tied by the ltaly national team having migrated to ltaly at his early age.
