The Swedish elite division side have captured the talented teenager beyond a seasonal-long loan deal, with the terms to be made permanent if he excels at the end of the campaign terms
Swedish Allsvanskan side Hammarby IF have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian teenager Raymond Dwomoh from Ghanaian-based outfit Jayash Soccer Academy.
The 18-year-old proved his mettle during his training sessions with the first-team squad before finally putting pen to paper on the loan deal.
Announcing the deal, those in charge of the Tele2 Arena have said their contractual obligations with the teenage sensation could be made permanent on purchase basis upon its expiration, stating on their club's official website: "18-year-old centre-back Raymond Dwomoh joins HTFF on loan from Jayash Soccer Academy in Ghana. During the week, Raymond has started training with the team. The loan extends over one year and includes a purchase option."
Sporting director Mikael Hjelmberg extols the qualities of the budding star right after capturing his loan services this summer: "Raymond is a young and very capable center back that we scouted in Ghana and after competing with other clubs, we are very happy that he chose to join Hammarby. We have high hopes for him and it will be a lot of fun to follow Raymond in Bajen."
Dwomoh will be made to figure in the training match against Sirius on Wednesday after which he would be made to proceed to the Reserve side (HTFF) for the 2024-25 campaign.
