Ghanaian international goalkeeper Razak Abalora has officially signed with Albanian club AF Elbasani on a permanent deal.
The 28-year-old moves to the Kategoria Superiore side as a free agent after ending his stint with Moldovan champions FC Petrocub Hîncești.
Abalora is expected to be a key figure for Elbasani in their current campaign, leveraging his experience and skills between the posts.
During his time at Petrocub, Abalora played an instrumental role in securing the club's first Moldovan league title, making 13 appearances, keeping six clean sheets, and conceding just seven goals.
Prior to Petrocub, Abalora had a successful run with FC Sheriff Tiraspol, where he won three trophies and maintained 17 clean sheets in 24 appearances. His journey to Moldova began after a notable spell at Asante Kotoko SC in Ghana, following a season with Tanzanian side Azam FC.
With four international caps for Ghana, including a debut in a 5-1 victory over Qatar in October 2020, Abalora brings valuable experience to Elbasani, who are newly promoted to Albania's top-flight league.
