An official confirmation over the signing of the budding winger read via the club's official website:''Sporting Charleroi is pleased to announce the permanent transfer of Raymond Asante to Udinese Calcio (Serie A). Arriving this summer on loan, the young Ghanaian winger is now tied to the club until 2026, with an option for two additional years.''
