The German top-flight outfit have announced the signing of the Ghanaian winger in a deal that is set to run out in 2027

German-born Ghanaian winger Sirlord Conteh has joined Bundesliga side FC Heidenheim on a three-year deal, the club have confirmed.

The 27-year-old is scheduled to team-up with his new employers for the 2024/25 football campaign after the end of the current league season from lower division side SC Paderborn.

"FC Heidenheim 1846 can announce another new addition for the upcoming 2024/25 season. Sirlord Conteh will wear our FCH jersey from next summer. The 27-year-old is moving from SC Paderborn to Brenz after the end of the current season. The offensive player will receive a contract with FCH until June 30, 2027. Both clubs agreed not to disclose the transfer modalities."

The former St. Pauli widesman had this to say right after putting pen to paper on the deal, telling the club's official website: "I am looking forward to my move to Heidenheim with full anticipation. In the last second division season I was able to compete against FCH and, from an opponent's perspective, I know the feeling of playing on the Schlossberg in the Voith Arena. I'm looking forward to the new challenge and will contribute to the team with the experience I've gained so far."

He has so far netted once and assisted four in 31 games across all competitions for SC Paderborn this term.

Sirlord, who happens to be the sibling of VfL Osnabrück attacker Christian Conteh, still remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the international level.
