The German third-tier outfit have announced the signing of the Ghanaian youngster in this current summer transfer window

German-born Ghanaian midfield enforcer Elijah Krah has joined German 3.Liga side FC Saarbrücken from Hamburger SV, the club have confirmed.

After spending his entire youth career with the former Bundesliga top-flight outfit, the 20-year-old is now set to begin life in the third division contest with his new side for the 2024/25 football campaign.

A statement confirming the signing of the Ghanaian youngster reads: "Defensive midfielder Elijah Krahn is moving from second division club Hamburger SV to third division club 1. FC Saarbrücken. The 20-year-old played three times for the Hanseaten in the second division last season and also played 14 times in the Regionalliga Nord."

Krahn had this to say right after putting pen to paper on the deal, telling the club's official website: "After many great years at HSV, I was looking for a new challenge where I could develop further in active football. FCS has made a name for itself through its cup successes. I know what will be going on here at home games and I'm looking forward to the new season, in which I will take on the competition,"

Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains eligible to play for Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Germany U16, U17, U18 & U19 national youth teams.
