Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Boateng provided an assist to help New England Revolution secure a 2-1 away win over FC Cincinnati in Saturday's Major League Soccer (MLS) game at the TQL Stadium.
Boateng was handed a starting role against the Knifey Lions, playing in his favorite left wing, with brace hero Giacomo Vrioni spearheading the Revs attack in the encounter.
Boateng made a significant contribution, setting up Giacomo Vrioni's second goal of the game in the 41st minute, to ensure his side clinched their sweet victory.
Boateng, who has played 12 games, notched once, and grabbed two assists so far, lasted 81 minutes in the match before he was replaced by compatriot Jonathan Mensah.
The victory ensured the Revs moved to 12th on the MLS Eastern Conference table after gathering 19 points.
