Tanzanian heavyweights Simba SC have announced the signing of Ghanaian attacker Augustine Okrah from Bechem United in the just-opened summer transfer window.
The 28 year old after passing all his mandatory medicals has penned a deal with the Lions which will keep him at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium until 2024.
The experience attacker re-joined the Hunters prior to the commencement of the ongoing season and has really exceeded expectations having stole headlines in the Ghanaian topflight this season.
The former Kotoko attacker was sensational in the just ended campaign, having netted 14 goals in the league and 4 in the league cup and re-established himself as one of the fans favourite at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
His stellar and consistent output has seen Bechem United finish third on the league and also made it to the final of the MTN FA Cup.
Simba SC are looking to establish a redoubtable side ahead of the upcoming campaign having failed to win the league for the fifth consecutive year, losing the trophy to bitterest rivals Young Africans.
