The 23-year-old former Leicester Citywinger has completed his loan transfer switch to the Belgian top-flight campaigners until the end of the ongoing football season
Belgian Pro League side Standard Liege have announced the loan signing of Black Stars winger Kamal Sowah from fellow elite division side Club Brugge.
Announcing the deal with the parent club of the former OH Leuven loanee man, the Stade Maurice Dufrasne outfit have said the deal could be made permanent after the season.
"Standard de Liège, Club Brugge and Kamal SOWAH have reached an agreement: the Ghanaian offensive midfielder will be loaned to our club this season (with purchase option)."
Sporting director Fergal Harkin had this to tell his club official communications network right after capturing the loan services of their transfer target.
"Kamal will strengthen our offensive sector and sharpen competition within our group. His experience in the Belgian competition, his technical and physical qualities, his speed and his depth will be additional assets for our team. ”
It's understood that Standard Liege will pay a transfer fee of €3m if they decide to exercise the purchase option over his permanent deal after the campaign.
Sowah has so far been capped once by the Ghana senior national team the Black Stars.
