The German outfit have announced the loan signing of the 22-year-old until the end of this season in the ongoing winter transfer window

Ghanaian attacking winger Kelvin Yeboah has completed his loan deal with Bundesliga side FC Augsburg from Italian Serie B side Genoa CFC.

The WWK Arena outfit have the option to make the loan deal permanent if he live up to expectations at the end of the ongoing campaign.

Before putting pen to paper earlier today, the former Sturm Graz flanks man was given a clean bill of health by the FC Augsburg team medics and he's now looking set to begin life in the German top-flight.

Yeboah had this to say right after inking the deal: "“I knew that I only wanted to move to FCA after my discussions with the coach and club. The exciting and positive way that the coach likes to play matches my style, so I’m pleased that the deal is now complete. I want to play a part in a successful second half of the season and we want to play attractive football for the fans. I can’t wait to play in the WWK ARENA,"

Sporting director Stefan Reuter added this to his club's communications network: "Kelvin Yeboah is a young, versatile and quick attacker. He will give us another option in attack. He showed how good he is from counter-attacks during his time in Graz and showed a real eye for goal. He’s a great fit for our team and the way we want to play."

He managed 11 appearances by scoring and assisting onces in the Serie B league campaign for Genoa CFC.

Having been born in Accra, the 22-year-old is still qualified to play for Ghana at the international stage despite playing for the Italy U-21 national youth team.
