Former Black Meteors captain, Yaw Yeboah has joined another Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC ahead of the 2025 football season. 

The 27-year-old joining the Gold and Blacks on a year deal after fruitful negotiations with an option for extension.

The Black & Gold acquired Yeboah’s rights from San Diego FC in exchange for $50,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) after the incoming expansion club selected Yeboah in Stage 2 of the 2024 MLS Re-Entry Draft. He will occupy an international slot on LAFC’s roster.

The mercurial playmaker spent the past three seasons with the Columbus Crew, tallying 6 goals, 13 assists in 93 matches across all competitions and also helped them win the 2023 MLS Cup and 2024 Leagues Cup titles.

Yaw Yeboah has represented Ghana at all levels having featured for both the Black Satellites and Black Meteors. He's also made four appearances for the senior national team - Black Stars

He's previously featured for clubs like Manchester City, LOSC Lille, FC Twente, Celta Vigo and others.
