Former Black Meteors captain, Samuel Obeng Gyabaa has been unveiled by his new club Wydad Athletic Club after joining them on the final day of the just-closed transfer window.

The details of his move hasn't been revealed but is joining the Moroccan giants after he was recommended by South African gaffer Rulani Mokoena who feels his inclusion will be very malleable to their season.

The 27-year-old had his last spell with Portuguese topflight side Casa Pia FC where he joined couple of months ago after spending most of his career in Spain and netted a goal in 11 matches.

He is expected to mark his debut against HUSA this weekend in match-day 20 of the Botola Pro League.

Samuel Obeng Gyabaa had all his European spells in Spain until this one having played for clubs like Getafe, Girona, Real Oviedo, Granollers, Calahorra and others.

The lanky forward has made five appearances for the national U23 team with two goals to his belt and is yet to earn his maiden Black Stars call-up
