Ghana defender Denis Odoi scored his first goal of the season for Royal Antwerp against RSC Anderlecht in the Belgian Cup on Thursday evening.
Ten-man Royal Antwerp held the Purples to a 2-2 stalemate in the second leg tie fixture but failed to make it to the next round of the competition by losing 3-2 on aggregate to Anderlecht.
Odoi, who lasted for only 36 minutes, opened the scoring for the Red and White lads with a fine strike in the 26th minute of the game.
RSC Anderlecht restored the parity of the game with a 32nd-minute equalizer through Yari Verschaeren.
The Black Stars right-back was sent off after just ten minutes of scoring following a second yellow card received for unsportsmanlike behavior.
In the 85th minute, Gyrano Kerk scored a brilliant effort to make it 2-1 for Royal Antwerp, but a late leveller in the 90+1 minute from Leander Dendoncker ended the fixture in a 2-2 draw.
Odoi has provided two assists in 16 appearances for the Belgian Pro League in the ongoing season's campaign.
