The newly-promoted Serbian Super Liga side has announced the acquisition of the former Black Stars talismanic forward in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Ghana international Samuel Owusu has officially joined Serbian top-flight league outfit OFK Beograd on a free transfer after fruitful negotiations.
The 28-year-old has made a return to Serbian football after ending his stay at Saudi Arabian second-tier league side Neom SC, where he scored three goals in 24 matches last season.
Owusu penned a contract with the Blue and White lads after passing a mandatory medical examination on Thursday evening to finalize his switch.
He will be unveiled to the OFK Beograd fans when they face FK Cukaricki in the match-week four game at Kraljevica Stadium this evening.
Owusu is a household name in the Serbian Super Liga following his scintillating performances during his stay at Radnik Surdulica and FK Cukaricki before leaving for Saudi Arabian sides Al Fayha and Al Ahli. He later made a return to FK Cukaricki in 2022.
OFK Beograd currently occupies fourth place on the Serbian Super Liga log with seven points after three games in the ongoing season, and they will be counting on Owusu's experience in this campaign.
Owusu has made 17 appearances for the senior national team of Ghana, with a goal to his credit.
