The 21-year-old midfielder has completed his transfer move to the English second-tier side in this current summer transfer window
Ghana international midfielder Amankwah Forson has joined English Championship side Norwich City FC on a four-year deal from Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg, the club have confirmed.
Announcing the deal, those in charge of the Carrow Road Stadium have said their terms with the former WAFA Academy graduate could be extended to another year when it expires in 2028.
"Norwich City have completed the signing of midfielder Amankwah Forson from Red Bull Salzburg for an undisclosed fee."
"The 21-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the club option of an additional year."
"Forson has been with Salzburg since 2021, having began his career with WAFA in his native Ghana. During his three years in Austria, he also completed loan moves to Liefering and Rheindorf Altach."He will wear the number 18 shirt as a canary."
Forson had this to tell his new club right after putting pen to paper on the deal; "I'm really happy and excited to come to the club."

Sporting director Ben Knapper added: "Forson is a talented and very well-rounded player, who will add quality and versatility to our squad. "

The transfer is subject to international clearance and approval from the regulatory governing bodies.
Forson has so far been cap-tied twice by the Ghana men's senior national team, the Black Stars at the international level.
