Former Ghana youth international, Simon Zibo has completed a move to Maltese topflight side Mosta FC in the ongoing 2025/26 football season. 

The 27-year-old the ‘Tar-Rotunda’ lads on a year deal after a fruitful negotiations with an option for another after the ongoing season. 

"Official Announcement. Mosta FC is pleased to announce the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Simon Zibo on a free transfer," wrote the club on social media couple of days ago.

Sibo isn’t moving into the Malta Premier League for the first time as he’s already spent two years there having already featured for two clubs; Birkirkara FC and Sliema Wanderers and is Malta FA Cup champion. 

The ex- Black Meteors middleman started his career at Liberty Professionals where he made name for himself before switching to Portugal where he had spells with Vitoria Guimaräes and Esperança de Lagos. 

Simon Zibo is most likely to have his debut for Mosta FC next week when they host Zabbar St. Patrick on Friday, October 24, at the Charles Abela Memorial Stadium.
