The talented budding teenage sensation of Ghanaian parentage together with his two other team-mates have been handed their first pro contract by the German top-flight club this summer

Spanish-born Ghanaian teen Derek Boakye Osei has signed his first professional contract with Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, the club have announced.

The 18-year-old centre-back together with his two other youth team-mates Fousseny Doumbia and Alessandro Gaul have all been tied down to a long-term contract ahead of the upcoming football season.

''Eintracht Frankfurt have handed professional contracts to three more young talents in Fousseny Doumbia, Alessandro Gaul Souza and Derek Boakye Osei,'' an official statement over their PRO contract read.

Sporting director Timmo Hardung said to his club's official website: ''In Fousseny, Alessandro and Derek, we’ve tied down three more talents from our academy for the long term. All three have earned it through their development, their ability and their work in training. We’re confident they can take the next steps by gaining match practice with the U21s.”

Boakye and his team-mates are set to spent time with the Under-21 side for the 2025-26 campaign.

Having played for the Spanish U17 national youth team, the Vilafranca del Penedès-born budding defender still remains eligible to represent Ghana on the international stage.
