The Greek top division side have parted company with the 29-year-old Ghana international forward in this ongoing winter transfer window 

Super League Greece side PAS Lamia have announced the mutual termination of contract with Ghana international striker Richmond Boakye following an  uninspiring outings this season.

The former Red Star Belgrade clinical finisher joined the Lamia Municipal Stadium outfit on a free transfer in an undisclosed period of contract during the summer transfer window.

Following a rocky start to life in the ongoing campaign, the Lamia-based club  have resolved to cut ties with the forward as he's been deemed unfit to be in the set-up of manager Savvas Pantelidis.

"PAE PAS LAMIA 1964 announces the mutual consent of its cooperation with the professional football player, Boaki Richmond. PAE Lamia thanks the player for the cooperation and wishes him health and every success in his next professional step," a statement from PAS Lamia over the release of Boakye reads.

He featured in 9 games by scoring once for The Cyan-Whites in the Greek Super League 1 22/23 football season.

The Accra-born striker  has been capped 19 times by Ghana at the senior national team, the Black Stars with 7 goals to his name so far in his international career.
