Ghanaian striker, Patrick Twumasi scored a brilliant goal as Beitar Jerusalem came back from one goal down to hammer Maccabi Haifa 3-2 on late Tuesday afternoon.

After a shock stalemate against Kiryat Shmona in its previous European match, Madrid crushed Dortmund, in a repeat of last season’s final, with a superb second half display.

Barak Yitzhaki's side claimed their seventh win in the ongoing campaign at Teddy Stadium and, as in that match aagainst Maccabi Haifa, struggled in the first 21 minutes, which went a goal up through forward Dean David.

However, Patrick Twumasi pulled Beitar level in the 34th minute before Dean David scored his second of the day in the 50th minute

The hosts fired two goals in five minutes (71' and 76th minutes). Twumasi provided the assist for Timothy Muzie's third goal to secure the win for Beitar.

With this win, Beitar have climbed to the 4th position on the standings with level-pecking points (13) with Maccabi Haifa.
