Here’s another comprehensive wrap up of how some Ghanaian nationals fared for their respective clubs over the weekend in Europe and beyond. 

ENGLAND

In the Championship, Ibrahim Osman finally made his debut for Birmingham City and lasted 56 minutes in their pulsating 1-1 draw at home to Stoke City. 

Both James Abankwah and Kwadwo Baah were all in action for Watford in their 1-1 away draw at Blackburn Rovers. 

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was on target for Leicester City in their 1-2 home loss to Oxford United at the King Power Stadium. Jordan Ayew lasted 68 minutes for the hosts.

Patrick Agyemang found the back of the net for Derby County who got held by West Brom to a pulsating 1-1 draw. 

Malachi Boateng lasted the entire duration for Plymouth Argyle who secured a narrow 1-0 win over Luton Town in the League Two. 

Jordi Osei-Tutu lasted 73 minutes of action for Bolton Wanderers in their 2-1 home win over Leyton Orient. 

Maleace Asamoah made a cameo appearance for Wigan Athletic who drew 3-3 away at Doncaster Rovers.

Cadiz lost 1-2 at home to Granada. Oscar Naasei Oppong enjoyed a full time action for the visitors.

Both Jarell Quansah and Ernest Poku were both in action for Bayer Leverkusen in their slim 1-0 win over Weder Bremen. 

Sirlord Conteh was introduced in the latter part of the game for Heidenheim who lost 0-3 at home to RB Leipzig. 

Ilyas Ansah was in action for Union Berlin who lost hugely by 0-3 defeat to Borussia Dortmund. Derrick Kohn was out due to suspension. 

Nikolas Nartey played 79 minutes for his new club Stuttgart who won by 0-3 away at Borussia Dortmund. 

Ragner Ache played all minutes for FC Cologne in their 2-1 defeat away against Freiburg at the Europa-Stadion. 

In the Bundesliga II, center-back Stephan Ambrosius in his debut for Karlsruher SC and made a cameo feature in their pulsating 2-2 draw to Hertha Berlin. 

Kofi Amoako found the back of the net for Dynamo Dresden who secured a 1-2 away win at Magdeburg.

Caleb Ekuban came off the bench to score Genoa who won 3-2 at home against Bologna in a very exciting game. 

In the Serie B, Emmanuel Gyasi played only 45 minutes for Palermo who won 1-0 at home against his former club Spezia Calcio. 

Alfred Duncan made a cameo appearance for Venezia who won 2-5 away at Mantova. 

FRANCE  

In the Ligue 1, Alidu Seidu played all minutes for Stade Rennais who got humbled at home by FC Lorient. Nathaniel Adjei was a second half substitute for the victors. 

Gideon Mensah enjoyed full throttle while Elisha Owusu also came on in the second half for AJ Auxerre in their painful 0-1 home loss PSG. 

Both Kojo Peprah Oppong and Salis Abdul Samed played all minutes for OGC Nice who won 1-4 away at FC Nantes. 

At the Stade Saint-Symphorien, Terry Yegbe played 63 minutes for FC Metz in their 2-5 home defeat to Olympique Lyon.

Black Stars trio of Kamal Sowah, Dennis Odoi and Andre Ayew were all in action for NAC Breda who drew 2-2 away at giants PSV Eindhoven. 

Ibrahim Sadiq warmed the bench while goalkeeper Jayden Oduro wasn’t in the match-day squad for AZ Alkmaar who won 0-1 away at Telstar.

TURKEY

Aaron Opoku lasted the entire duration lasted the entire duration for Kayserispor in their 0-3 away win against Basaksehir. 

Daniel Agyei played 78 minutes for Kocaelispor who drew goalless against Samsunspor. 

Kasimpasa suffered a 2-1 defeat away at Tranzonspor. Both Nicholas Opoku and Godfried Frimpong lasted all minutes for the losing side.
