Ghanaian attacking midfielder Kwame Afriyie Adubofour Poku continued his impressive performance for Peterborough United with a goal in their 3-1 home win over Accrington Stanley on Tuesday evening.

Peterborough United came from behind to record their ninth victory of the season against Accrington Stanley in the English League One match-week 16 fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium.

The first half of the game ended in a one-all draw after a 25th minute strike from Harvey Rodgers had been cancelled out by the hosts through Ephron Jardell Mason-Clark.
 
Six minute after the break, Kwame Poku brilliantly handed Peterborough United a 2-1 lead before a 59th minute goal from Clarke-Harris sealed their important home win.
 
Poku enjoyed the entire duration of the game with a scintillating display against Accrington Stanley at the Weston Homes Stadium.
 
The 21-year-old has scored three goals and provided two assists in his 10 appearances for Peterborough United in all competitions this season so far.
 
The English-born of Ghanaian earned his debut call-up to the senior national team of Ghana in 2021 but he is yet to make an appearance for the West African nation.
