Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Jayden Addai has expressed his excitement after making his first Serie A appearance with Como in this current 2026-27 campaign.

The former AZ Alkmaar wideman suffered from a serious Achilles Tendon Rupture during a training session in February this year and had to undergo a successful surgery in order to correct the health anomaly for his recovery.
Having been sidelined for over seven months, the Ghana-prospect finally made his long-awaited return to the pitch after featuring in Como 0-0 draw game against Roma on Sunday.

Right after the clash, Addai took to his lnstagram Handle to express his joy over his first Serie A outing this season by posting: "Praise the Lord. Time will tell."
The nimble left-footed winger, who was handed a cameo playing time during the encounter, has now kick-started his campaign for the 2026/27 football season.

The Netherlands-born native still remains eligible to switch international allegiances and represent Ghana at the senior level after featuring for the Netherlands U19 & U21 national youth teams so far in his international football career given his Ghanaian heritage.
