Per Football lnsider, Rangers are now leading the race to sign the Ghana-prospect attacking teenager as they are keen to bolster their forward line options with his signing for the 2026-27 football season.
The report added that, with Ashia's running contract set to expire this summer, the lbrox Stadium outfit are confident of luring him on a free transfer and could offer him a pre-contract deal so as to ward off competitions over his pursuit going forward.
He has already taken in 28 appearances by netting 6 times and setting up another 3 for Huddersfield Town across all competitions in this ongoing campaign so far.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the London-born budding star remains fit to switch nationality allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage.
