The Spanish heavyweights are reportedly keeping close tabs on the 23-year-old defender of Ghanaian descent in an effort to reinforce their backline options with his capturing in the summer 

La Liga titan Real Madrid have set sights on England-Ghanaian defender Jarell Quansah in a bid to land his signature from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen for the 2027-28 campaign, according to an emerging report from the German media.

The dependable centre-back, who swapped Premier League giants Liverpool for The Black and Reds on a five-year deal during the summer transfer of 2025, has so far established himself as a central figure at the BayArena in the German top-flight.

According German tabloid Newspaper BILD-ZEITUNG , those in charge of the recruitment at Santiago Bernabéu, are extensively keeping a close eye on the towering guardsman following his impressive performances with the former Bundesliga Champions so far.

The Liverpool academy graduate has so far featured in 6 games across all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen in the ongoing 2026-27 football season.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Warrington-born native defender remains unfit to play for Ghana at the senior level after being cap-tied 7 times by the England national football team so far in his international career.
