Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil scored once again to move KRC Genk closer to the 2022/23 Belgian Jupilier Pro League title.
KRC Genk secured a remarkable 3-1 comeback win over Club Brugge in the Championship play-off of the Belgian Jupilier League League on Sunday evening.
Club Brugge took the lead on the 9th minute through Hans Vanaken before Daniel Munoz levelled the score on the 18th minute for the home side.
In the second half, KRC Genk displayed a five-star performance to record a 2-1 through a strike from American international Mark McKenzie on the 56th minute.
Paintsil sealed their emphatic victory with a cool finish on the 83rd minute when he pounced on a loose ball inside the box of Brugge.
The 25-year-old had scored earlier in the game but his goal was ruled for offside after a VAR review.
Paintsil has notched up 15 goals and provided 12 assists in 31 appearances for KRC Genk this season so far.
