Saudi Pro League champions Al Hilal have expressed strong interest in Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and are willing to offer him an annual salary of €10 million.
The 20-year-old joined the club on a permanent long term deal in the just-closed this summer after impressing at the club on loan from Portuguese Primera Liga team Sporting CP.
The mercurial winger was one of the outstanding players in the English Championship last season for the Foxes and is expected to light up the Premier League this season.
He starting on his blistering note having marked his Premier League debut with an assist to help Leicester City come from behind to salvage a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in their opening fixture of the 2024/25 season.
He's gone on to feature in all matches they have played so far including their 1-2 home defeat to Aston Villa over the weekend and is looking forward to making more numbers going forward.
However, speculations has it that, the Saudi champions have opened talks with Leicester City since their window is still opened and are pushing so hard to make the deal happen and are willing to offer the player a €10 million per season salary.
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is currently back in Ghana with the Black Stars preparing for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger in few days time.
