The Scottish giants saw their last minute advances over the 20-year-old talented midfielder of Ghanaian descent doused by the ltalian outfit during the just-concluded winter transfer window

Serie A side AC Monza rejected the bid of Sottish Premiership giants Rangers FC over the services of Ghanaian youth star Omari Forson during the late hours of transfer deadline day, a report has claimed.

The London-born Ghanaian midfielder, who joined the Stadio Brianteo campaigners on a four-year deal during the summer of 2024, was a chief target for Belgian manager Philippe Clement as he tried to lure him to the lbrox Stadium in order to augment his frontline options with his acquisition this term.

Spanish sports website Relevo has indicated that AC Monza quickly knocked back the offer tabled for their former Manchester United teenager by The Gers  as they were hell-bent on retaining his services beyond this season given his promising talent as a budding star.

The Ghana-prospect youngster is yet to establish himself into the setup of the ltalian top-flight outfit, with 5 games being witnessed so far in the current 2024-25 Serie A campaign.

Given his Ghanaian parentage, Forson remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level despite playing for the England U15, U16, U19 & U20 national youth teams.
