Ghanaian trio, Richmond Owusu, Henry Addo and Samuel Gidi featured for Slovakian side MSK Zilina FC on their preseason tour in Europe as they beat SK Sigma 3-1 in their third preparatory game towards the new season today.
Richmond Owusu scored a last-minute goal to cement victory for his side after the team was already leading 2-1 in the 89th minute.
Samuel Gidi, the new signing midfielder was named in the starting line up as Richmond Owusu and Henry Addo featured later in the second department of the game.
Richmond Owusu who plays as a left back and his mate, Henry Addo, an attacker finished the previous season as the best youth players in the team after helping ‘The Shoshones’ flourish in the UEFA youth champions league by reaching the quarterfinals.
Vladimir Vesely, the ‘ Zilina B ‘ department head coach promoted the duo fully into first team football last season where they went on to feature in numerous games.
On the other hand, Samuel Mawuena Gidi joined his counterparts at the end of the season after a successful trials.
The trio are all graduates from Ghanaian second-tier club, MSK Zilina Africa Football Club.
