Ghana U23 coach Ibrahim Tanko has handed an invitation to CFR Cluj winger Emmanuel Yeboah for the upcoming Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifiers double-header against Algeria.
Yeboah is among the foreign-based players invited to join the Ghana U23 team for the final qualification round games against Algeria.
The 20-year-old has proven himself as a versatile and effective striker since joining Romanian topflight outfit Cluj in January of last year from lower-tier side Young Apostles FC.
With his ability to play both as a leading striker and on the right wing, he has become a key player for the team in both domestic and European competitions.
He has managed to notched up three goals and provided three assists in 39 appearances for CFR Cluj across all competitions this season so far.
The Sunyani-born is expected to join the Ghana U23 team's regroup to continue with intensive preparations with the quest of securing their second successive qualification to the CAF U-23 Championship.
The first leg is scheduled for Friday, March 24 in Annaba with the return leg set for Kumasi in four days time.
