French born Ghanaian defender Dennis Appiah has returned to action, making a quick recovery following an injury he sustained.

The Saint-Étienne right-back was left out of his side's last two games as he has been out with the undisclosed injury for sometime now.

He played in their 3-1 home shellacking in the hands of Nice over the weekend, climbing off the bench to replace Macon in the 62nd minute.

Appiah is expected to earn a starting berth as he trained with the rest of the Saint-Étienne squad ahead of Sunday's Ligue 1 round 25 clash meeting with Andre Ayew's Le Havre.
