Ghanaian international, Salis Abdul Samed is very close to joining French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old spent a season long-loan at Sunderland in the last campaign and was part of their promotion back in the Premier League even though he made only ten eleven appearances in all competitions. He missed out on the majority part due to consistent injuries and setbacks.
Salis, has now returned to his parent club RC Lens but clearly isn’t part of the team’s plans and was set for a new challenge elsewhere despite starting on a higher note at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis
However, reports surfacing is that, OGC Nice have expressed interest in signing the Ghanaian midfielder and have reportedly reached agreement with his club already at a fee of €2.5 million, including a future sell-on clause
The versatile middleman is expected to have his medical examination going forward and will sign a three-year deal when it’s done.
Salis Abdul Samed was recently part of the Black Stars squad at the Unity Cup tournament that was held in London months ago
