The newly-promoted Turkish top-flight outfit are eyeing a move for the 29-year-old midfielder, with the former Hannover 96 youth star currently in the free agency pool 

Turkish Süper Lig side Samsunspor have penciled down Ghanaian international attacking midfielder Kingsley Schindler in an effort to sign him this summer.

After rejecting contract extension at German outfit FC Köln, the former TSG 1899 Hoffenheim II loanee could be set for an exit at the RheinEnergieStadion ahead of the upcoming season.

Kickgh.com understands that the Turkish top division side have started their advances over his pursuit and could end up securing his signature on a free transfer deal in a lucrative terms of personal services this summer.

That notwithstanding, FC Köln boss Steffen Baumgart, has reiterated his side's stands to retain the services of the 29-year-old as he still remains part of his plans ahead of the 2023/24 campaign. 

"We don't close doors," the German tactician said of the Ghanaian midfielder to Express.de. "An agreement is still possible, we're not closing any doors."

The Hamburg-born Ghanaian enforcer has so far one international cap for Ghana after switching allegiance to represent the west African powerhouse.
