Fortuna league side, MSK Zilina FC today in a preseason friendly, thrashed out Banik Ostrava FC in a 3-1 intensive match at the Municipal Stadium, Czech Republic
Ghanaian prospect, Samuel Gidi was in his usual dazzling form as he got his name on the scoresheet in the first half with a marvelous strike described as a ‘ world class goal’ by the commentator.
The goal came at the moment his team was on 1-1 level approaching half time – a goal that calmed the nerves of spectators and the home fans, putting his team ahead.
After scoring in the 38th minute, the captivating midfielder registered his second goal and the team’s third on the day to finalize the scores in the 66-minute and also scooped the man-of-the-match award.
The 18-year old all-round-midfielder officially joined the Slovakian side this season and already lightening up the field with his extreme adroitness.
Other Ghanaians on the field were wing back Richmond Owusu and forward, Henry Addo all featuring in the second half for the Yellow-Green team.
The trio are all graduates of Zilina Africa football club in Ghana, a team in collaboration with MSK Zilina, Slovakia.
