Newly-signed Wydad Athletic Club forward, Samuel Obeng Gyabaa has expressed excitement and assured the supporters of giving his all to help the club in the ongoing season and also at the upcoming Club World Cup.
The ex- Black Meteors captain was unveiled by the Red Castles having joined on the final day of the just-closed transfer window.
The details of his move hasn't been revealed but is joining the Moroccan giants after he was recommended by South African gaffer Rulani Mokoena who feels his inclusion will be very malleable to their season.
Speaking during his unveiling photo shoot, Gyabaa revealed what actually made him decided to join the three-time African champions. He added he will give his all to help the club achieve success especially in the upcoming Club World Cup.
"I chose Wydad because of their ambition project and also the confidence the coach and the club transmit to ame. I feel, everything surprise me and that's good. excited."
"Personally I will give my best and collectively finish in a good position. In June, we will give our best in the World Cup for the fans and the club."
The 27-year-old had his last spell with Portuguese topflight side Casa Pia FC where he joined couple of months ago after spending most of his career in Spain and netted a goal in 11 matches.
He is expected to mark his debut against HUSA this weekend in match-day 20 of the Botola Pro League.
Samuel Obeng Gyabaa had all his European spells in Spain until this one having played for clubs like Getafe, Girona, Real Oviedo, Granollers, Calahorra and others.
