The Israeli second-tier league outfit have blostered their attacking options with the acquisition of the former Black Stars winger.

Israeli Liga Leumit side Maccabi Petah Tikva have completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Samuel Owusu from OFK Beograd in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Owusu joins from the Serbian Super Liga club where he featured in 23 league matches, netting three goals and providing two assists.

The 29-year-old began his European career in 2014 after departing Ghanaian side Vision FC. Over the years, he has played for clubs in Serbia, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, including notable spells with Al-Fayha and Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League, and Gençlerbirliği in Turkey.

Owusu is known for his pace, dribbling, and direct style of play, he is expected to be a major asset in attacking unit of Maccabi Petah Tikva.

He has capped 17 times for the senior national team of Ghana with a goal to his credit.
