Ghana international, Samuel Owusu has reacted to their epic clash against giants Partizan Belgrade and has described it as a tough test especially playing away from home.
FK Cukaricki will play as guests to the Black and Whites at the Partizan Stadium on Sunday in round 15 of the ongoing campaign.
The game arguably, will be the biggest fixture of the week in the Serbian Liga, since both teams are currently sitting on the third and fourth position with only two points separating them.
The 26 year old has started the season on a higher note having made 11 league outings so far with a goal to his belt and will still hope to improve in their subsequent matches, starting from tomorrow.
Speaking to Maxbet Sports, the Black Stars winger has admitted it is going to be a tough task for them as it has always been but they will play their hearts out this time to grind maximum points. He said;
"It's always a small derby, a duel between city rivals. And they are always difficult games for us, I believe also for Partizan. I watched our next rival against Cologne, they beat a team from the Bundesliga, from the top of European football."
"But we are all extremely motivated, you can see it in the previous training sessions, both with younger and older players. It is up to us more experienced ones to carry most of the load, but I would really like to praise the great young guys from Čukaricki."
"They are very talented, they work very well and they develop very well. They are already making a big contribution to the team's results, and they will also have a big test against Partizan."
