The Austrian top-flight campaigners are interested in signing the 23-year-old winger of Ghanaian origin ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window
Austrian Bundesliga side SK Rapid Wien are eyeing German-born Ghanaian winger Aaron Opoku in their bid to secure him from Bundesliga ll side Hamburger SV, according to reports from the Austrian media.
Given an impressive campaign on loan at VfL Osnabruck in the just ended season, the Hamburger SV youth product could yet again spent another season elsewhere for the 2022-23 football league campaign.
A report claimed by Vienna-based Newspaper Kurier has indicated that Opoku could head to the Austrian Bundesliga following the Keen interest being expressed by Rapid Vien over his services.
His current deal with the Volksparkstadion outfit will expire in June 2024 and his market value has currently been pegged at €500,000 as per transfermarkt valuation.
The ex-Hansa Rostock loanee netted 3 and assisted 15 in 31 league game appearances for VfL Osnabruck in the just ended campaign.
The Hamburg-born winger is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Germany U20 national youth team.
