The Charity Stars FC academy graduate shot-stopper, who is currently with the feeder club of Los Blancos, has revealed his aspiration for top-level men's football competition in Spain next term

Ghanaian goalkeeper Ebenezer Agbesi has said that he is now eyeing for a transfer move to the Spanish LaLiga for the 2026/27 football season.

The 21-year-old agile glovesman, who is currently with Real Madrid feeder club CD Canillas, has already proven to be above the lower division contest and is now looking forward to moving a step further in his career for the forthcoming summer transfer window.

Speaking in an interview via a phone call with Kickgh.com from his base, the Black Stars prospect last line of defence has revealed his aspiration for either LaLiga or LaLiga 2 football contests next season.

He told KICKGH.COM: ''My target for next season is to move a step higher. l am really aiming higher to catch the eyes of clubs from the LaLiga or LaLiga 2 for my services this coming transfer window. So, honestly speaking l am eager to move to the next step and continue with my young goalkeeping career with top-level clubs and not necessarily in Spain, but across Europe.''

Agbesi said he is looking forward to qualifying CD Canillas to the Spainsh Tercera Federación (fifth-tier) as they currently hold the 3rd position in the Spanish Divisiones Regionales de Fútbol (sixth-tier) league standings for the 2025/26 season.

''Given my target of making a move next season, l am still looking forward to finishing this season on a high note with my club. We have a strong chance of qualifying to play in the Tercera Federación next season as we are currently 3rd in the league standings. And so l want to be part of the history as a goalkeeper to have led my club in achieving this success at the end of the season,'' the safe pair of hands in between the sticks concluded.

Given his impressive saving acumen in goalposts, the young goaltender could become a reliable keeper for the Ghana national football team at the international level in the nearest future.
