The Russian top-flight giants have reportedly tabled a bid for the services of the 31-year-old in an effort to reinforce their backline options with his capturing this summer

Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow have expressed interest in signing Ghana international defender  Alexander Djiku from Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, a report from the Turkish media has indicated.

The former RC Strasbourg centre-back, who is also attracting interest from French Ligue 1 clubs Lille, Nice, and Toulouse, could be set for a move elsewhere in this current transfer window.

Per Turkish outlet Sabah Spor, the Moscow-based club have tabled an amount of €5m for the Ghana international and are determined to go the extra mile in his pursuit given their quest to land his signature for the current football season.

lt is understood that the hard-tackling guardsman is not in the plans of manager Jose Mourinho and that a transfer move to his current suitors is highly on the cards before the transfer window comes to a close next month.

Djiku featured in 38 games for Fenerbahçe across all competitions in the 2024-25 campaign.

He currently boasts of 33 caps with the Ghana Senior National Team on the international stage, with 2 goals to his name.
