Ghanaian duo Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ibrahim Sulemana were both on target but wasn’t enough to give Atalanta BC a win in a thrilling encounter that finished in a pulsating 3-3 draw at the Centro Sportivo Bortolotti 1.

The Black Stars duo all made manager Ivan Juric’s starting line up and moved on to last the entire duration of the game

Kamaldeen, opened the scoring account with a close-range tap-in from a teasing cross in the 23rd minute

Eleven minutes later, his compatriot Ibrahim Sulemana struck from the edge of the box into the top corner to restore their lead which had already been cancelled by Rajan Zlibanovic - who had a brace to ensure the first half ended in 2-2 draw

Nigerian international Goodness Ajayi scored in the 50th minute to make it 2-3 and give NK Opatija the lead for the first time in the game but a late Lazar Samardžic penalty rescued Atalanta BC from a defeat

The Blue-Blacks have had a roller coaster pre-season so far having won their opening three matches including wins against AC Monza and RB Leipzig. However they are now winless in their last two having lost hugely to FC Koln just yesterday and today’s draw

Both Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ibrahim Sulemana will hope for a starting berth again in their final pre-season game against Juventus before the 2025/26 Italian Serie A season
