Former Ghanaian international, Sulley Ali Muntari has described compatriot Ernest Nuamah as a purely talented footballer and wants him to stay at Olympique Lyon beyond this season in order to develop more in his game

The 21-year-old was remarkable in his long loan spell last season at Lyon and subsequently earned himself a permanent stay at the Groupama Stadium

Despite battling injuries in the ongoing campaign, Nuamah has been sensational contributing to eight-goal involvements so far; having netted six and two assists in 33 appearances in all competitions

In a recent interview with Africafoot, the former Inter and AC Milan midfielder has urged Ernest Nuamah not to rush for a move in the summer despite attracting series of offers from some English clubs as he feels he is in the best environment now to improve in most part of his game

"Ernest is a player of pure talent. He's elusive with the ball at his feet, excellent in one-on-one situations, and capable of creating danger at any moment. He's a true defensive dynamite with a remarkable mentality. Despite his injury, he's generating interest because he'll come back even stronger.

"Regarding his future, I think he still needs to develop at Olympique Lyonnais before aiming higher. He's young, a regular, and playing in an environment that's conducive to his development. An additional season at OL could allow him to reach a new level before considering a move to a more prestigious club."

Premier League clubs like Fulham, Everton and Crystal Palace have all been keeping tabs on the Right to Dream Academy graduate and are willing to push his signature very soon including Serie A side AS Roma
