Premier League side Sunderland have set sights on Ghanaian international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and are willing to enter into negotiations with Leicester City, per reports.

 The 21-year-old has been unplayable and unmatched this season with consistent top-tier performances coupled with some sumptuous goals for the Foxes. 

Fatawu has been in an explosive form this campaign with 12-goal involvements so far (5 goals and 7 assists) in 26 Championship games this season for Leicester City. 

Reports has it that, the Black Cats are on the market searching for a young prospect attacker and have found Ghana’s Fatawu Issahaku as the perfect option but with no confirmation yet as to whether they will want him in this winter window and will wait for summer. 

He will hope for another starting berth this afternoon when they play as guests to league leaders Coventry City in round 27 of the English Championship. 

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku will hope to serge on with his superb form in order to make the Black Stars squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
