Black Stars defender, Tariq Lamptey has returned to Brighton and Hove Albion after the World Cup, to begin preparations towards the return of the 2022/23 English Premier League season.
The 22 year old made Ghana's final 26 man squad for the 2022 World Cup which is currently ongoing in Qatar.
The enterprising lateral had to return to the AMEX very quick following Ghana's early and disappointing exit from the competition- where he made two appearances against South Korea and Uruguay in the final group game.
Pictures of him resuming training with the Seagulls has popped up as he hopes to fight his way back into manager Roberto De Zerbi's starting line up when the league resumes, having made 11 appearances so far.
He went into the break on a blistering note after scoring against inform Arsenal in their 3-1 win over them in the EFL Cup and will look to pick from there.
Lamptey, 22, will hope for more minutes in their Carabao Cup round of 16 fixture against Charlton Athletic on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
