Ghanaian teenager Daniel Owusu has officially joined Austrian club Vienna City on loan until August, 2023.
The Red Bull Salzburg attacker will get his first taste of proper senior football this season after it was officially announced the player would join the second tier side.
"Daniel Owusu moves from Salzburg to Vienna for one season and signs a loan contract with First Vienna FC 1894," Salzburg confirmed.
The full agreement was signed on Tuesday morning, and Vienna City have confirmed that the player has signed.
Owusu, 19, made the switch to Salzburg in February 2021 from West African Football Academy (WAFA).
In 2021, he played for SV Horn, making ten appearances and at FC Liefering were he went ahead to make 11 appearances, netting two goals and annexing two assists.
Owusu featured in five UEFA Youth League games for Red Bull Salzburg, scoring one goal and annexing one assist.
