Algerian Ligue 1 side USM Kenchela have completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Maxwell Baakoh for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old has signed a one-year deal with the Lions of the Aures with the option of a second, having rejected the chance to extend his contract with Jordanian side Sahab Club.
Baakoh emerged as one of Ghana's most promising wingers in recent seasons, starring for Asante Kotoko, Karela United and Wa All Stars.
In December 2020, Baakoh signed for Egyptian Premier League club Ceramica Cleopatra FC after refusing to renew his contract with the Porcupine Warriors after a two-year spell.
He has had loan stint with Libyan top tier side Al Madina where he msde the switch from Ceramica Cleopatra FC.
Kenchela only secured promotion to the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 last season and is buckled down to remain in the top division at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
Baakoh could make his Premier League debut on Friday, September 2, when Khenchela face USM Alger in the first game of the new season.
