The Ghanaian defender has been hailed by the Swedish international given his qualities as a guardsman ahead of the upcoming football campaign 


Ghanaian centre-back Terry Yegbe has been described as a "monster on the pitch" by his IF Elfsborg team-mate Ahmed Qasem, with the bulky defender being tipped for an impressive debut league outings for the 2024/25 Allsvanskan top division contest.

 The 23-year-old, who joined the Borås Arena outfit on a four-year deal from Finnish elite club SJK Seinäjoki during the January transfer window, has so far left an impression in the minds of his new employers with his qualities and has prompted his fellow team-mate to shower praises on him thereby tipping him to succeed in his debut season in the Swedish top-flight.

 "He is a monster on the field," the Swede said of the hard-tackling Ghanaian stopper to Fotbollskanalen's deadline day broadcast. He is too Fast, strong and good with his feet. I think he will surprise many in the Allsvenskan." 

The former Ghana U23 defender is yet to earn his international cap with the men's senior national team, the Black Stars.
